Overview |
|
FastlinX-5516 provides a switching throughput of 32Gbps.
This product offers optimal solutions for collective
housing/business facilities such as MTU/MDU, Server
Farms, Service Providers' Data Centers, and Mediumsized Enterprise Backbones.
FastlinX-5516 is a gigabit backbone switch of Corecess' FastlinX
Switch series. The switch has user modules for 8 slots and selective Redundant Control Switching modules for 2 slots. It also provides Redundant Power Supply.
32Gbps non-blocking switch fabric of FastlinX-5516
offers wire-speed forwarding.
L3 switching by routing protocols such as Static Routing,
RIP/OSPF, etc. is offered with the use of L3 expansion
module.
FastlinX-5516 offers maximum 128(10/100M) ports (or 32 Gigabit ports)
and various expansion modules such as 10/100M UTP, 100M
Fiber, 1000base SX/LX, GBIC Gigabit, and etc.
FastlinX series provides flexibility for henceforward
network expansion by offering various expansion modules,
easy management environment, and standard technology.

Various Ethernet modules such as 10/100Base-TX, 100Base-FX, GBIC Gigabit, and tec. can be inserted to an expansion slot. Also, maximum 128(10/100M) ports can be used by 10/100Base-TX, and maximum 32 GBIC Gigabit ports can be used with 4 GBIC Gigabit modules. |

FastlinX-5516 can be stacked with FX5124G and other switches of FastlinX series. In this case, it can be operated as a Stacking Master. |
